How the Calculation Works

The site stores copper price in rupees per kilogram. Gram values divide the kilogram rate by 1,000; tonne values multiply it by 1,000. Reverse calculation divides a rupee budget by the latest per-kilogram rate.

Example: if the reference is ₹1,380/kg, 500 g is 0.5 kg and has an estimated reference value of ₹690.

Why a Dealer Quote May Differ

  • Refined copper, rod, wire and scrap have different specifications.
  • Purity and expected recovery affect scrap value.
  • Taxes, freight, fabrication and financing can change the billed rate.
  • Quantity and location influence supplier premiums.
